The National Bank International Junior Tennis Championships

The 35e edition of the National Bank International Junior Tennis Championships, which highlighted the greatest tennis hopefuls on the planet, ends Friday afternoon at Larochelle Park. The leaders took the opportunity to set up an “athletes’ alley” for the great players who have passed through Repentigny.

One of Repentigny’s great volunteers, Denis Séguin, is with Richard Camirand, Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Repentigny, Yaroslava Bartashevich, 14e player in the world among juniors, as well as her coach, Gilles Galmisch.


The volunteers do a remarkable job. The mayor of Repentigny, Nicolas Dufour, spoke with Roger Leroux, Judy Costello, Terry De Palma and Claude Héroux.


Canadians Aleksandar Mitric and Sasha Rozin have qualified for the doubles semi-final on Friday.


Honorary President and Olympic medalist Sébastien Toutant spoke with tournament leaders Lionel Armstrong and Benoit Delisle.


The tournament can count on an excellent team of communicators made up of Laurence Ouimet, a second-year student in political communication at the Université de Montréal, Arianne Cloux, who is pursuing her DESS studies at the Université de Montréal, Louise Bourget , director of communications, Nicolas Giuristante, technical director as well as Hugo Lopez, finishing with a DESS in media, culture and technology at the University of Montreal.
