La France Insoumise (LFI) MP Sébastien Delogu received a fifteen-day exclusion from the Bourbon Palace, after brandishing a Palestinian flag in the hemicycle on Tuesday May 28. The sanction provides for the withdrawal of half of the parliamentary allowance for two months and his temporary exclusion for 15 days. “The sanction is deserved. The National Assembly is not a circus. There are internal regulations, rules… We cannot bring a flag into the hemicycle. During the question session with the government, Sébastien Delogu stood up and waved a flag in the colors of Palestine to the applause of his group. “He did it for electoral purposes.
