It’s the fall rendezvous of the Grand Est. The Nancy Jazz Pulsations celebrates its 49th anniversary this year. At the opening of this Festival which will welcome a host of artists until October 15, a concert to enrich the musical book of the little ones.

How to introduce Jazz and make it more accessible to the youngest? The Nancy Jazz Pulsations has chosen this year to offer them an interactive musical journey with a show combining projected images, colorful drawings and the instruments of two saxophonists, who fly over the great family of jazz, from free Jazz to cool Jazz. Collective Upside down is the author of this incredible musical book with multiple accents and a poetic, funny and surprising universe. The little ones, jazz lovers in the making, took their eyes and ears away.

Each fall, the Nancy Jazz Pulsations attracts nearly 100,000 spectators thanks to an eclectic program and headliners galore. To start the festivities, the diva of contemporary Jazz Melody Gardot or the Auvergne Jean-Louis Murat who presented The real life of Buck John, his new album.
The rest of the program is just as enticing: the Selah Sue concert scheduled for October 15, already sold out. On the program also Bernard Lavilliers on October 13, back after four years of absence or the creation Eastwood Symphonic, October 10, a rich and emotional interpretation of Clint Eastwood’s film scores.
Since its launch in 1973, the Festival has warmed up Nancy by spreading throughout the city: in bars during the day, in theatres, at the Opera and even in the Saint-Epvre Basilica. In total, nearly 180 concerts will be offered by 140 artists.
