Arriving fall 2021
He was staying in a cottage with his grandfather. The mayor of the hamlet, Rolande Alibert, who passed them from time to time, described him as “a very nice boy“, “lively“. In a press release, the owners of the cottage indicate that Alex Batty arrived for the first time at the “late fall 2021“, and that he “contributed to the maintenance of the cottage” in exchange for accommodation. The couple added that they encouraged him to study and helped him find a school.
