Lille supporters will ultimately not be able to go to the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille on Saturday, on the occasion of the 11th day of Ligue 1, the Bouches-du-Rhône police headquarters told franceinfo this Friday. “By ministerial decree, the travel of LOSC supporters was prohibited for the meeting on November 4,” specifies this source. On Thursday, those around the northern club had nevertheless mentioned the possibility of this trip. Around 250 Lille supporters were announced.

The ban on their arrival comes in a context of tension after last Sunday’s stone attack on the Lyon coach in Marseille, during the Olympico, and the injury to the face of coach Fabio Grosso. The OM-OL match had been canceled. It has been rescheduled for December 6, indicated the Professional Football League.
