The Moulins Advens in Strasbourg

The Moulins Advens manufacture and market peanut flour and paste in small packages carried by strong and emblematic brands to best meet all consumer desires.

A little history :

The Great Mills of Strasbourg were founded in 1865 on the banks of the Ill in Illkirch. Today located in the historic Port du Rhin district of the city of Strasbourg, European capital, it is here that a significant part of the activity of the Les Moulins Advens group is concentrated.

Flour from the Grands Moulins de Strasbourg are ground from high quality soft wheat harvested mainly in Alsace. They are supplemented by wheat harvested in Burgundy and Lorraine.

It is in Strasbourg that the flours for pastries and preparations (for bread, pancake batter, pizza, etc.) of the Gruau d’Or brand are packaged.

The site is certified organic for Gruau d’Or flour (storage and bagging) and Bioligne (manufacturing) and has also benefited from IFS certification since 2006.

From the selection and blending of the best wheat to the manufacture of high quality flour, Les Moulins Advens specializes in the development and marketing of tailor-made flour.

In addition to its milling know-how, Les Moulins Advens are also producers of peanut paste.
