For four months, Lina’s mother has been waiting for answers. Her 15-year-old daughter disappeared while leaving her home on September 23, 2023. She had to take a train towards Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) to join her boyfriend. She disappeared on the journey between his home and the station.
A new judicial investigation opened after a rape complaint
Thursday, February 1, his mother was received for the first time by the two investigating judges in charge of the case. The investigation is complex and multiple leads have yielded no results. A year and a half before her disappearance, Lina had filed a rape complaint. The Saverne public prosecutor’s office (Bas-Rhin) closed the complaint without further action, arousing the incomprehension of his mother, before changing his mind by opening a new judicial investigation a few days ago. No suspects have been taken into custody and Lina’s disappearance remains a mystery.
