The most notable prehistoric works of art, for Nathalie Mèneteau

Nathalie Mèmeteau was brought in to restore a large canoe from the Neolithic era, 3.80 m long, discovered during preventive excavations at Paris-Bercy. After its extraction from the water, it was taken care of by a specialized laboratory so that the object could be preserved. After being deposited at the National Museum of Prehistory in Les Eyzies, it was noted, after 20 years, that pieces of the canoe began to come off, hence the intervention of Nathalie Mèmeteau to restore them and reassemble the ‘object.
