From the highly anticipated sequels to the “Bridgerton Chronicles” to the latest series from the creators of “Game of Thrones”, including the adaptation of the video game “Fallout”, series from the United States are back.

The historic double strike of screenwriters and actors that Hollywood experienced, between May and November 2023, is now over. Some series will have to wait, again, until 2025 like the sequel to The Last of Us or The White Lotus. But still prepare yourself for a flood of series that have been waiting for their release.
Starting with the long-awaited sequel to Bridgerton Chronicles from May 16, this time which will revolve around the character of Penelope, the famous gossip and columnist Lady Whistledown. Following House of the dragon, inspired by Game Of Thrones, which will be released this summer. Or Stranger Things which will also end with its fifth season, which made Netflix bosses cry, according to its authors.
Fashion is in fashion, series on Karl Lagerfeld and Balanciaga will arrive on Disney +, but also Christian Dior during the Second World War in The New Look on Apple TV+. Also, a series about a fictional house directed by Lambert Wilson in The House always on Apple tv+.
Films and video games are adapted into series
Video games continue to inspire series authors. We expect, on April 12, the adaptation of Fallout on Prime Video, still a story of the world after a nuclear war. Films are also available in series. Prepare yourself this year for Alien series, Blade Runner 2099, Dune the prophecyand even Ripleyadapted from Talented Mr Ripley.
We are particularly watching Penguin series. The character played by Coline Farrel in The Batman will be entitled, this fall, to his own fiction. It will follow the rise of Oswald Cobblepot who is still only a simple nightclub manager and right-hand man of a mafia boss. He is not yet spreading terror in the streets of Gotham City.
The actress Kate Winslet, heroine of Titanic, succeeds in everything she touches and her next series will focus on politics. The Regime will tell the story of a charismatic dictator. We can trust director Stephen Frears to give meaning to this series on the theme of the decline of a political regime.
“The Three-Body Problem,” from the creators of “Game of Thrones”
Finally, the most anticipated series is necessarily that of the authors of Game Of Thrones. Netflix offered a golden bridge to David Benioff and DB Weiss who will offer, on March 21, The Three-Body Problem.
In this adaptation of a Chinese science fiction novel, it is a story of humanity’s first encounter with an extraterrestrial civilization on the verge of collapse which is preparing to invade Earth: special effects guaranteed.
