The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation and the LBJÉQ

The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation donated $943,000 to 65 community organizations across Quebec whose mission is the well-being of children in need. The Quebec Junior Elite Baseball League (LBJÉQ) launches its 77e season Saturday. The LBJÉQ is celebrating the return of the 16-year-old team from the Baseball Academy of Canada (ABC), which will face the 13 teams in the league.

Samuel Tremblay, Maxime Giguère, Olivier Martel, Éric Infante, the new manager, Olivier Leblanc, Brandon, the batting officer, and Jacob Paradis, the assistant coach, proudly wore the new colors of the Ducs de Longueuil.


During the delivery of the check to Community Recreation Saint-Michel, we saw Carl Constant and Obed José.


Réjean Houle, President of the Alumni Canadiens and member of the Foundation’s Board, is accompanied by Geoff Molson, Johanne Saltarelli, of Sun Youth, Geneviève Paquette, CEO of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation, and Pierre Boivin , Chairman of the Board of the Foundation.


Maxime Corriveau and Maxime Ricard are training for the start of the new season for the Tyrans de Gatineau.


The Montreal Orioles are back at the beautiful Carter Stadium, which has been renewed. The playing field is at the level of major baseball, to the great pleasure of managers Gilles Taillon and André Dussault.


Among the managing directors of LBJÉQ, there is Milton Lopez, of the LaSalle Cards, Luc Desgroseilliers, of the Saint-Eustache Bisons, and Marc-André Ronda, of the Royal de Repentigny.


The head coach of the Laval Chevrolet 440 Pirates, Sébastien Rivest, is accompanied by the team’s president, Jacques Continelli, who has been involved in minor baseball in Laval for more than 40 years.
