The Montreal International Auto Show (SIAM) will make a comeback next January after skipping the 2021 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will be held from January 21 to 30, 2022, still at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. The organization specifies that it will obviously be necessary to present a valid vaccination passport to have access to it.
As the industry faces glaring supply issues and refocuses its priorities on auto shows, SIAM 2022 will be smaller. Its general manager, Luis Pereira, estimates in a press release sent to the media that “more than half of the banners will be present”.
Further information on the schedule will be communicated by the end of November.
