The Montreal Alouettes reach an agreement with three ex-NFL players

The Montreal Alouettes signed three former NFL players on Monday.

Thus, receiver Tyjon Lindsey, defensive back Bryce Cosby, as well as tackle Jerron Cage reached an agreement with the Montreal team.

Tyjon Lindsey (five-foot-nine, 182 pounds) finished his career with the Oregon State University Beavers. He caught 75 balls for 917 yards and nine touchdowns. The 25-year-old rushed 25 times for 184 yards and three more touchdowns. In 2023, he was part of the Seattle Seahawks organization.

Bryce Cosby (five-foot-nine, 188 pounds) played five seasons with the Ball State University Cardinals. The American from Louisville, Kentucky, collected 228 solo tackles and 163 assisted tackles in addition to making 10 interceptions, knocking down 26 passes, causing three fumbles and recovering three. The 24-year-old spent two years in the Las Vegas Raiders organization in 2022 and 2023.

Finally, Jerron Cage (six-foot-four, 310 pounds) played five seasons and 30 games for the Ohio State University Buckeyes. In his final season, the 25-year-old amassed 12 total tackles in addition to making three sacks, knocking down a pass breakup and recovering three fumbles, including one that he turned into a touchdown. The Cincinnati, Ohio native spent time with the New Orleans Saints in 2023 after signing a free agent deal.
