Direction Chalon-sur-Saône, in Saône-et-Loire, where the 36th edition of the Montgolfiades took place during the weekend. For the occasion, 50 hot air balloons of all colors flew over the Chalonnaise countryside.

Under the first rays of the sun, in Chalon-sur-Saône (Saône-et-Loire), an astonishing spectacle is being prepared. Like every year, the Montgolfiades attract many curious people. Future passengers hope to have an unforgettable experience. Then the ballet begins. Nicolas Grosset has been a pilot for 30 years. This is the first time he has participated in the event. “It’s always nice to see people discover and marvel at our nature”he rejoices.

For an hour, around fifty balloons fly across the sky. To not lose any of the spectacle, a passenger immortalizes every moment. “It’s superb. The advantage is that we have a backdrop behind it, with the Saône”, he rejoices. This magical moment cost them 220 euros each. Even if the landing is a little difficult, once your feet are on the ground, everyone will keep their heads in the clouds.
