A few weeks after confirmation of the forthcoming arrival of 200 additional soldiers in Touraine, the Minister for the Armed Forces announced the construction of 40 accommodation units in Tours. Florence Parly has just sent a letter to Philippe Chalumeau, the deputy for the 1st constituency of Indre-et-Loire.
This program is part of the “Ambition Logement” plan. With a budget of 2.3 billion euros over 35 years, it plans in particular to build 3,000 new homes, “in areas of rental tension” for “sustainable improvement in the living and housing conditions of military personnel and civilians of the Ministry of the Armed Forces”.
