The Quai d’Orsay declared on Sunday evening that a French woman had been killed in Israel following the Hamas attack and stressed that several nationals had not yet been located. The ministry details that “nearly 62,000 French nationals are registered with the consulate general in Tel Aviv and 25,000 registered with our consulate general in Jerusalem”.

Furthermore, “many French people passing through are currently there”. The ministry calls them “to respect the extreme vigilance instructions issued by our teams at the French embassy in Tel Aviv, the consulate general in Jerusalem and by the Israeli authorities.”
