The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense published, Wednesday, October 12, on Twitter, a romantic (and humorous) video clip to thank France for sending Caesar guns. “Sophie Marceau…Isabelle Adjani…Brigitte Bardot…Emmanuel Macron…and CAESARS!” he enumerates, putting on the same plane large French actresses and the Caesar guns, jewels of French artillery.

“Romantic gestures take many forms but if you really want to win our hearts, nothing beats 155mm mobile self-propelled artillery. Thank you very much, France. Send us more, please”can we read in this video, which alternates images of the Eiffel Tower, roses and handshakes between Emmanuel Macron and Volodymyr Zelensky, against a backdrop of I like you… me neitherby Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin.

France has promised to send six additional Caesar guns to Ukraine, in addition to the 18 already delivered since the start of the war. These 155 millimeter guns have a range of 40 kilometers.
