Two days after the attack on a 13-year-old girl in front of her college in Montpellier, the Minister of National Education, Nicole Belloubet, announced Thursday April 4 an administrative investigation into the establishment, warning that her “arms will not shake” if mistakes were made.

“Obviously, I want to know everything, to know everything about what happened during the previous months or the previous weeks in the establishment where Samara was hosted”insisted the minister on BFMTV, announcing that inspectors general from her ministry would go to the site on Friday “for a flash mission” of eight days.

Three minors in police custody

The attack on the teenager occurred on Tuesday around 4 p.m. in front of the Arthur-Rimbaud college, in the working-class neighborhood of La Mosson-La Paillade. The girl, “seriously injured” according to the Montpellier public prosecutor’s office, who announced Wednesday evening his exit from the coma, was heard on Thursday.

Three minors aged 14 and 15 – at least one of whom was educated in the same establishment and admitted “having dealt blows”according to the same source – had been placed in police custody on Wednesday for attempted murder of a minor under the age of fifteen.
