On Friday, a 15-year-old teenager, who attended the school, threatened the principal of the school with a knife, without hurting her, after presenting her with a letter mentioning a hostage-taking and the attacks of November 2015. The Dijon public prosecutor’s office informed Sunday evening that the minor was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention. The Dijon prosecutor clarified during a press conference this Sunday that a judicial investigation was opened for “intentional violence resulting in incapacity of less than eight days”. The prosecutor also specified that the teenager had been temporarily excluded from his establishment in early 2024, following an incident with an English teacher. While in police custody, the suspect did not dispute the facts.
