The Minister of Education announces the deployment of a “mobile school force” to ensure “physical security” in establishments “in difficulty”

“I will deploy a mobile school force which will be national and which can be deployed in establishments which are experiencing difficulties”announced Nicole Belloubet, LMinister of National EducationFriday March 29, during a travel to the Gironde prefecture in Bordeaux. This mobile force must “reassure teachers and educational teams” and can be deployed in a short time “long enough”she added.

“The State will systematically become a civil party when a complaint is filed”also declared Nicole Belloubet, before hammering out: “These things are not acceptable. The State must be able to seek compensation for the school, schools suffer material damage, we see it with the ENTs…”

“Schools and their teachers suffer psychological and moral damage which deserves compensation and that is what we will do from now on.”

Since the middle of last week, more than 150 establishments located in around twenty academies in total in Paris and the provinces, according to the ministry, have been targeted by threats of attacks transmitted via the ENT. Complaints have been filed and investigations opened. A beheading video was notably sent to several establishments.
