“We don’t campaign from Paris”, launches Manon Aubry on her arrival. “Work all to earn better”
The first development is in the direction of Emmanuel Macron. Manon Aubry sifted through the errors of the five-year term of the president-candidate, underlined the absence of democratic debate and supported the “monarchy” of La République en Marche. She then made the promise of a minimum wage revalued to 1,400 euros. “No Frenchman will earn less than the poverty line which is 1,063 euros”, she insists. And to achieve this, Manon Aubry ensures that the era of the presidents of the rich is over. “We will create a universal tax for multinationals so that the small pay small and the big pay big”, chants the one who supports Jean-Luc Mélenchon. It also promises the end of tax havens.
Objective: to be in the second round
The militants are already convinced, they will vote People’s Union because all seek a better distribution of wealth and a more egalitarian society. Manon Aubry then urges them to convince their relatives “to vote Jean-Luc”. “We won’t need to block, we are the block!”
