Barely appointed to Matignon, Gabriel Attal has made the defense of the middle classes his priority. During his first trip, he greeted France “who works”. “Addressing the middle classes is quite convenient (…) there are more than two thirds of French people who consider themselves to be in the middle classes”, analyzes Emmanuel Rivière, political scientist, teacher at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. A tax cut promised by Emmanuel Macron
