Addresses “gourmet and careful at affordable prices”. The Michelin guide published a list of 56 “good deals” restaurants throughout France on Monday February 26, three weeks before awarding its famous stars. It thus gives pride of place to the “bistronomic” trend and value for money.

These addresses do not exceed 40 euros for a complete meal, without drinks. “In an economic context marked by inflation and rising food prices, it is appropriate to highlight this effort”, underlined the international director of the Michelin guide, Gwendal Poullennec. According to him, it is not a question of “small star”but of addresses “where to really have fun”.

The vast majority of these addresses are located outside Paris and Ile-de-France. For this promotion, Brittany particularly stands out for its dynamism, with 10 new “Bib Gourmands”, followed by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions. Among the notable trends in this new selection, the continued rise of bistronomic cuisine, this style of cooking which combines bistro classics with gourmet preparation methods.
