More thunderstorms expected. Météo France placed, Monday, June 19, 19 departments of Poitou-Charentes, Center, Burgundy and Champagne, in orange vigilance. Meuse, Moselle, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Vosges, Charente-Maritime, Charente, Deux-Sèvres, Vienne, Indre, Indre-et-Loire, Cher, Loir- et-Cher, Loiret, Nièvre, Côte-d’Or, Marne, Haute-Marne, Aube and Yonne are now concerned. Thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon or early evening.

In the afternoon thunderstorms described as “sometimes violent” will develop in Poitou-Charentes before reaching the Center and Burgundy. They will then move towards the North or North-East, touching Champagne from the end of the afternoon or the evening of Monday, specifies Météo France. They will be accompanied by heavy rains, up to 30 to 40 mm in a short time, a risk of heavy hail or large hail.
