He became the mascot of the Montbéliard police station, in the Doubs. A young cat was taken in and adopted by police officials.

The clues are not mistaken, there is indeed a new recruit at the Montbéliard police station (Doubs). Mermaid, two years old, left the SPA a few weeks ago for her new home, Karine’s office and her colleagues. “She arrived towards us at the end of October, her assignment office is at the forensic science, and she walks throughout the police station. She eats there, she sleeps there, she drinks there“, says the police officer.

The beautiful story begins in fact quite sadly, when at the end of October, the Montbéliard police are seized for acts of mistreatment of a cat. The affair did not go unnoticed, and caused a stir throughout the police station. Immediately, the officials set out to save the animal. It didn’t take long for the new mascot to take its marks. “It gives a certain bond, especially with the people who come to file a complaint“, says Brigadier Gildas.
