The mayor of Agde, in Hérault, is indicted for corruption, illegal taking of interests and embezzlement of public funds. Gilles d’Ettore would have been trapped by a clairvoyant who pretended to be his deceased father to him, and would have obtained the recruitment of five members of his entourage.

The mayor’s lawyer, Jean-Marc Darrigade, denies any irregularity. He request the release of his client. The mayor and the clairvoyant have been in pre-trial detention since March 21, because the matter does not end there. Other people have been targeted by the medium, always with the same method. Investigations continue. During the weekend of March 30, two executives from the Eiffage company were indicted. They are suspected of having participated in the secret financing of work at the clairvoyant’s home.
