the mayor of Toulouse awaits rapid explanations from the ARS

The mayor of Toulouse speaks this Saturday after another runaway at the Marchant hospital, the third in a week. A 41-year-old patient, known for acts of rape, fled this Friday afternoon and has since been sought by the police.

“I understand and share the concern of Toulouse residents. It is very legitimate!” says Jean-Luc Moudenc who recalls that he mobilized the municipal police as quickly as possible to find these escaped patients.

Fast and transparent communication from the ARS

But the mayor of Toulouse asks above allRegional Health Agency to quickly do its job. An inspection of Marchant Hospital has been ongoing since the first two runaways.

“It is important that the ARS communicate, quickly and transparently, the results of the inspection” writes Jean-Luc Moudenc, who wants to know “emergency and longer-term measures, concerning the care of patients.”

He also supports caregivers, whom he knows “fully committed to restoring the situation and putting an end to this unprecedented series.”
