A fatal road accident took place this Tuesday afternoon in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, route de Bandol, on the RD559. A collectible convertible car who didn’t have a seatbelt on ran off the road. The passenger died. This is Michel Thomas, 72, mayor of Roissy-en-France, in Val d’Oise. The chosen one had just arrived on vacation in the Var. According to the first elements, the vehicle rolled over several times, the city councilor was thrown and hit a rock.
His companion, also a passenger, was seriously injured and airlifted to Sainte-Anne hospital in Toulon. The driver is also hospitalized.
