On April 10, five people were placed in pre-trial detention for “drug trafficking” committed in Avallon between January 1, 2023 and April 7, 2024, including the mayor of the town, Jamilah Habsaoui and her two brothers.

At least 70 kg of cannabis resin were discovered at the beginning of April in Yonne, at the elected official’s home.
