A large pine tree was cut down by a team of pruners at Ayer’s Cliff. Here, the owner had previously given his consent and he will be able to use the wood for his own needs. Owners often have good reasons, from an individual point of view, for not allowing a tree to be felled, “but from a collective point of view, the network goes everywhere. If four neighbors say yes to felling a tree and a fifth refuses, then, in the event of a storm, the latter risks causing the others to lose power,” explains Sébastien Martineau, responsible for relations with the communities of the sector.
