The main suspect of the Villerupt shooting (Meurthe-et-Moselle), Saturday May 13, was indicted for “attempted murder”, announced the parquet floor of Nancy, Wednesday. In accordance with the requisitions of the prosecution, he was placed in pre-trial detention.

The man had been brought before a judge on Wednesday morning. He is suspected of being the author of the shots which injured five people, three of them seriously.

Judicial information had been opened for “attempted assassination to the detriment of the five injured people”, “reception of property from theft and destruction of the property of others by dangerous means” and “materialized death threat”.
