Whether the Sorting Hat sent you to Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, you can get your hands on the appropriate uniform at Witch and Wizardry. As well as the official cloaks of all four Hogwarts houses, among the more than 2,000 items in stock are wands, sweaters, stuffed animals, mugs, puzzles and more. “I really have a great variety for all budgets and all tastes”, assures Maggie Leroux, owner of the shop.

The sets at Universal Studios’ Florida Harry Potter theme park have also influenced her, but her business is in no way a copy-and-paste of those. “I wanted to bring my magic to me in the world,” says the one who is passionate about everything that is fantastic.
Witch and Wizardry is the only store in Canada that exclusively sells licensed Harry Potter products. A ball in Montreal
On the Montreal side, the event Harry Potter: The Great Yule Ball will be held from November to January. Inspired by the elegant soiree at the Triwizard Tournament in the series’ fourth book, the festivities will, of course, include dancing, but also “bewitching performances”, themed drinking and appetizers, and a market. Tickets for this activity for ages 12 and up are on sale now.
