The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel is once again open to traffic after more than 10 hours of closure.
Around 7:30 p.m., the Ministry of Transport confirmed that traffic was again permitted at this location.
In the morning on Friday, the tunnel was closed in a southerly direction after a vehicle caught fire.
According to information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), no one was injured in the accident.
