Established for 50 years in Ernée, the luxury leather goods company is innovating and putting on a day of job dating for the first time, with the hope of recruiting around thirty people.
The company is struggling to recruit
After two years of covid, the Longchamp company is back to its 2019 activity in terms of demand. Especially with retirements, the demand becomes more and more urgent. Only, with a fairly low unemployment rate in Mayenne (5.3%), candidates are not rushing to the door of the company.
Dexterity test and interview
29 people show up this Thursday, June 9 at the Ernée site to try their luck through dexterity tests and individual interviews. There is a session at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. All profiles are sought: “motivated people, who want to learn manual skills, with or without experience. We are ready to train” explains Clarisse Goyet, Longchamp leather goods manager in Ernée.
The lucky ones will have an answer the following week.
