The Loire-Atlantique prefecture is banning a Dieudonné show which is to take place on Friday March 29, around Saint-Nazaire, reports France Bleu Loire Océan.
The prefect of Loire-Atlantique signed a decree on Thursday to ban this show and cites Dieudonné’s convictions for anti-Semitic remarks inciting hatred. The prefect considers that maintaining this spectacle could have consequences for public order.
The performance must take place this Friday within a 20 km radius around Saint-Nazaire. The location is known at the last moment and communicated only to ticket holders.
Similar prefectural decrees have been taken in recent weeks in Gard and Haut-Rhin. In Gard, justice finally authorized the Dieudonné show.
