As One Piecethe famous manga Naruto will in turn be adapted into live action. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of Shang-Chi and some Legend of the Ten Rings will be responsible for writing and directing this live-action adaptation.
“I became convinced that there was no better director than him for Naturo”posted Masashi Kishimoto, the Japanese creator of the manga, on his X account (Twitter).
The manga, created in 1999, was serialized in the popular Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2014. Sold 250 million copies worldwide, it chronicles the coming of age of a young boy and his battles in a world of super-powered ninjas. The French version was published by Kana between March 2002 and November 2016.
The manga was later adapted into a series. Between Naruto And Naruto Shippudenthe animated totals more than 700 episodes broadcast between 2002 and 2017. It has also been released as a video game.
