The women’s XV of France begins this Saturday, October 8 (at 3:15 a.m. French time) its World Cup in New Zealand, against South Africa. This Wednesday, October 5, the staff announces the composition of the group that will play this first match.
The composition
Among the 23 players selected, we find 8 Blagnacises (Clara Joyeux, Charlotte Escudero, Marjorie Mayansss, Emilie Boulard, Fabrice Vernier, Coco Lindelauf, Queyroi Lina and Melissande Llorens) and 4 Toulouse (Céline Ferer, Lauren Sansus, Gaelle Filopon and Pauline Bourdon). Note that Gaëlle Hermet, captain of the Stade and the XV of France, was announced back from injury yesterday but she is not in the squad. A total of 9 Blagnacaises and 5 Toulouse flew to New Zealand.
