The Professional Football League (LFP) announced on Wednesday, October 12, the acquisition of the French fantasy football game, Mon Petit Gazon (MPG), which claims three million players.

“A few weeks after the creation of its commercial subsidiary in partnership with CVC Capital Partners, the Professional Football League is very pleased to announce the arrival of Mon Petit Gazon in its digital ecosystem” she wrote in a statement.

Founded in 2011, MPG allows its users to compete every weekend with their team, made up of players from Ligue 1 or other European championships that they have chosen themselves and whose real performances are taken into account. . Thanks to this acquisition, the amount of which has not been filtered, MPG should have licensed images of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 for the first time (photos of players, jerseys, club crests, etc.) . Players should soon be able to benefit from the new features of the game.

“This strategic agreement is part of a triple ambition: to support the digitalization of audiences for LFP competitions, to offer fans innovative content and to collaborate with the talents who help to promote French football” concluded the LFP.
