(Laval) The Laval Rocket unveiled their schedule for the 2024-25 American Hockey League season on Thursday, and will begin it with a two-game trip.
The Rocket, who are still without a head coach for the next campaign following the surprise departure of Jean-François Houle on June 21, will first face the Bruins in Providence on October 11 before crossing swords with the Thunderbirds in Springfield the following day.
Their home opener will be on October 18th at Place Bell against the Syracuse Crunch. They will face them again on the 19th in the afternoon.
The Rocket will play their first game against the defending Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears at their home arena on Nov. 27.
Their longest home streak will be six games, and will run from Dec. 20 to Jan. 4. Their longest road trip will also be six games, and will run from Dec. 1er as of April 12.
The Rocket will close its season on April 19 in Belleville, against the Senators.
The Montreal Canadiens’ farm club will also play two preparatory games in Belleville, on October 4 and 5, against the Senators and the Marlies, respectively.
The Laval team finished in 12th placee Eastern Conference ranking with a 33-31-8 record, missing the AHL playoffs.
