The launch of the Artemis rocket towards lunar orbit took a little delay on Monday, August 29, 2022. NASA explained that the launch, scheduled for 2:33 p.m., could not be held. The rocket now has two hours to take off. On the spot, Camille Guttin, journalist from France Télévisons, special correspondent in Cape Canaveral (United States), describes the excitement and the tension which win over the spectators.
On site, hundreds of people are gathered with tables, camping chairs to wait before the big launch. The delay was clarified by NASA. When filling the tanks, a problem was detected. In addition, there is a significant risk of thunderstorms. These two factors therefore led NASA to postpone the long-awaited and particularly followed launch of the Artemis rocket by a few minutes.
