The last hours of preparation behind the scenes of the Victoires de la Musique

Here is an event that this year inevitably takes on a slightly different flavour: Music Awards! Marked by the return of the public, this evening promises to be, by the own admission of Olivier Minne and Laury Thilleman, grandiose! While Orelsan and Clara Luciani dominate the nominations, it is also an opportunity for the nominees in the revelation categories to be discovered by the general public!

But before all that, there is the preparation. Already this morning on the local branch of France Bleu Paris, we made you discover these shadow jobs without which the ceremony could not take place. This afternoon is always behind the scenes of the Victories that we take you thanks to Quentin Lhui live from the Seine Musicale for France Bleu with Johann Roques and David Kolski.

And behind the scenes he meets Jean-Philippe Lemonnier, artistic producer of the ceremony. He takes care of preparing the shows for the guests, in total dialogue with the artists: “They are involved… It’s a month and a half non-stop job for them. We work hand in hand with them”. He sees himself as a conductor responsible for the timing and respect for everyone’s universe. The Victoires de la Musique is always an emotion, despite the experience, especially for the revelations: “Seeing these people arrive, seeing their notoriety rise, is a lot of emotions. Barbara Pravi is totally amazed to be nominated, she is very stressed to be nominated and she hopes to win”. And if the shows of each other promise to be spectacular, it is from the very beginning of the show of which our guest is proud : “We have a great entrance! it’s a challenge we set ourselves every time to sign the opening. Logically it’s going to be fine”. The pressure is mounting. Curtain up at 9:05 p.m. on France 2.

Sylvain is part of the choir Gospel for 100 voices who will accompany Stromae during the opening of the television show. A pleasure for him “to come to this kind of event, especially for the opening”. It’s a real emotional moment that we invite you to discover right here while the Choir continues its rehearsals in front of the microphone of France Bleu:

And it’s Juliet Armanet now who gives Quentin Lhui a few moments just before picking up his snack from the catering! She does not hide that she is in a hurrydespite a mixture “of repetitions, adjustments, trials and questions”. And tonight it’s on _The last day of disco”_that Juliette Armanet will unleash the crowds, an important single that started the exploitation of his new album : “It’s always very moving, it takes me back to a lot of things. I often had tears in my eyes during rehearsals. But that’s why we do all this, to have our hearts exploding”.

Alexandra Redde Amiel, director of entertainment and games at France Télévisions is also present and it does not stop: “We run everywhere! Whether it’s the channel, the production and the artists, it’s such a big, big event that everyone has an essential role”. An evening for essential France 2: “It shows to what extent France Television is mobilized to honor music and artists and it is a real gift for our viewers to offer a real live concert.. A commitment to the artists and the music shared by France Bleu and Radio France. This evening will also mark the reunion with the public but also with the teams which have sometimes been reduced during the COVID, “it’s a real party” for Alexandra Redde Amiel who promises us a very beautiful ceremony with Stromae as master of ceremonies!

Here is one of the key people tonight: Frank Broqua. If you know a little about the media world, the name of Quentin’s guest should ring a bell! Emblematic director of equally emblematic programs, it is he who will be at the helm of the Victoires de la Musique. And it is in the outside coach that he receives Quentin! In front of him, a lot of screens to choose the best shots during 21 tracks sung live. He explains everything that happens behind the scenes of a big TV show at the controls of a team of 150 people with Quentin Lhui:

Arthur of the Fires! Chatterton is our latest guest! This is the third time the group has been nominated in their 10-year career: “All the moments that are precious, that we want, that are important, are loaded with apprehension. This is what makes the salt of the moment”. In any case, he finds friends in Clara Luciani or even The Empress : “There was a kind of rapprochement between artists during the COVID. It’s nice to feel that this is an edition that brings us together and that looks like us. Arthur also returns to the song for which his group is named tonight: New world! At the microphone of Quentin Lhui, he explains to you why the title almost… simply did not appear on the album!
