It is the dream place of Toulouse residents, especially the inhabitants of the popular city of Empalot, when it is hot. The large pool (150×48 meters) outside the Alfred Nakache nautical area on Ramier Island is closed this Tuesday, August 9, and will remain so until further notice, at least until Thursday.

. The latest water quality analyzes are not satisfactory for chlorine and Ph, consequence of an electrical failure which caused the filtration system to trip. We will have to wait for a complete cycle of filtration of the basin, for ten hours.
Furthermore, this breakdown, combined with the high temperatures, caused appear algae in the pool making the water cloudy.
The site is not closed, families with babies or young children can come to the paddling pool, 30 to 70 cm high. And the Castex pool for swimmers is also always accessible. Until August 16several swimming pools in Toulouse are once again extending their opening hours : the Bellevue Nordique, Toulouse-Lautrec, Papus, Jany and Chapou swimming pools are open until 8 p.m.
Météo France has placed the Haute-Garonne in orange vigilance in the heat wave from Wednesday noon.
