Dear Jean-Francois Roberge,
For a long time in love with falcons and the French language, rare birds in America, I want to say hats off! to whom (singular or plural) had the flash of genius to link their beauty and their fragility in this time of expeditious “efficiency”.
You shake the cage, and that’s an excellent thing: if only to remind us that neither the falcons nor the French can find the space there to spread their wings and their vitality.
Please (oops!), don’t let yourself be discouraged by those who blame you for this happy electroshock, we all need to be shaken up from the decline that our words and our words too often betray.
