Around 3:17 a.m., on the night of February 25 to 26, the Orne firefighters were called by neighbors to a fire that broke out in the laboratory of the bakery “Au Fournil du Perche”, in Rémalard-en-Perche (Orne). The fire completely destroyed the bakery laboratory.
Three employees on technical unemployment
The first floor of the bakery is damaged by smoke from the fire. In total, 18 firefighters from the barracks of Alençon, Rémalard, Mortagne-au-Perche and Bretoncelles were mobilized.
The disaster caused no injuries, the baker had not yet arrived on the spot when the fire broke out. Three bakery employees were laid off.
