The La Fontaine tunnel closed towards Longueuil during the weekend

Obstacles are to be expected on the Greater Montreal highway network during the weekend, in particular on certain axes of highways 15, 25 and 40 that Mobility Montreal recommends avoiding.

Already partially open for the rest of the week, the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel will be completely closed in the direction of Longueuil from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

Highway 40 eastbound will be completely closed between exit 65 and the Laurentides interchange, from Friday 11:30 p.m. to Sunday 10 a.m.

At the Saint-Pierre interchange, the ramp leading from Route 138 eastbound to A-20 eastbound is expected to be completely closed, from midnight Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

On the Gédéon-Ouimet bridge linking Laval and Boisbriand, traffic will be in the opposite direction southbound from Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 4:30 a.m.

In Bois-des-Filion, Route 344 will be closed in both directions at 51st Avenue, from Friday 8 p.m. until Sunday 5 p.m.
