(Toronto) The Juno Awards Gala will return to Halifax next year.
The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has announced that the event will be held in the port city in 2024, a first since 2006 – Pamela Anderson hosted the gala during this edition.
Several events on the sidelines of the gala will begin on March 20, 2024, then the official ceremony will take place on March 24 at the Scotiabank Theatre.
Juno Awards Week 2023 is underway in Edmonton. The main gala, where the most prized statuettes will be presented, will take place on Monday. The event is hosted this year by Simu Liu.
The main event will be broadcast on CBC and its online streaming platform, CBC Gem.
Toronto singer The Weeknd is the most nominated artist this year, with six nominations, followed by Tate McRae and Avril Lavigne, who have five.
