the journalist signs his return… and you will be surprised!

Since last January, Jean-Jacques Bourdin had been temporarily suspended from his post at RMC and BFM-TV after the opening of a sexual assault investigation. Despite the fact that the case was dismissed, the Altice group took the floor on June 17 to announce the news that everyone was waiting for. “Due to the events that occurred and were brought to the attention of the management during the year 2022, the management has decided to terminate the employment contract of Mr. Jean-Jacques Bourdin and thus cease all collaboration”explained the group through a press release.

In fact, since the end of June, Jean-Jacques Bourdin was “unemployed” and was open to all proposals. Unfortunately for him, TF1 already closed the door to him in the event that Anne Nivat’s companion had the aim of joining the group in the coming weeks. “The answer is no. It’s not a value judgment on his personal situation, but as we want to favor in-house talent, the question does not arise”released Thierry Thuillier, the director of information at TF1in an interview with Parisian.

New role and new experience

Finally, the emblematic journalist of BFM-TV and RMChas finally found a job as announced by Patrick Roger, the Managing Director of South Radio in a press release. He indeed welcomed the arrival of“an immense professional who brings to our channel his rich experience, his deep knowledge of the files, the incomparable relevance of his interviews and of course his very strong empathy with the public”.

After the formalization, the companion of Anne Nivat also took the floor on Twitter to express his joy at having finally found a job after the last complicated months he had known. “Doing the job you love is a chance! Mine is informing you, asking questions, sharing with you. I’m so happy to see you on #sudradio this Monday between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Come many. ‘ Let’s speak true at Bourdin'”he rejoiced.
