“It is clear that the Israeli response will go much further than in April, this is what the majority of Israelis demand”said Tuesday October 1 on franceinfo the Franco-Israeli professor of international relations at Tel Aviv University, Emmanuel Navon, after the Iranian attack on Israel.
“This is Iran’s second massive attack on Israel. The Israeli population as a whole will demand a much stronger response than that which took place after the April 13 attack.”according to the professor.
“The majority of Israelis have confidence in the army so that the war will be won. For it to be won, it must reach the source of all this violence which is in Tehran”he continued, affirming that this Iranian attack “only confirms that it is indeed a war between Iran and Israel since October 7”. “Even Israelis who do not support this government obviously support the war efforts and the goal of this war, in the face of this threat which affects the entire population, regardless of their faith”.
According to Emmanuel Navon, “We must now expect an increasingly direct conflict between Israel and Iran”. As for the nature of the Israeli response, “it will go as far as neutralizing Iran’s military capabilities. Iran will directly pay the price for its aggression”.
