After the death of three Israeli hostages killed by IDF soldiers, the Israeli army revealed the first elements of its investigation.
The Israeli army has given the first elements of its preliminary investigation into the death of three Israeli hostages killed by the IDF in the Gaza Strip. “This is a sad and painful event for all of us and the Israeli army is responsible for everything that happened”, confided Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israeli army. He assures that an investigation has been opened and that the first elements are overwhelming the soldiers of the Hebrew State.
A cry for help in Hebrew
It reveals that the three hostages, all under the age of thirty, presented themselves shirtless and waving white flags in front of the Israeli military in the north of the Gaza Strip. The soldier would have sensed a threat, motivating his shots killing two hostages. The third, injured, took refuge in a building. The soldiers reportedly heard him call for help in Hebrew before he came out of hiding. A new shot kills him. According to the army and according to these first elements, the soldiers concerned did not respect the protocol. In Tel Aviv, several hundred people gathered to demand a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
