After the coldest night for a month of April since 1947, France is about to suffer a new wave of cold. Temperatures and a murderous frost for the orchards and the vines. In its latest report, the Group of Experts for the Climate (IPCC) proposes solutions to be adopted in the face of climatic events.

It is a way to try to avoid the catastrophe. In a sixty-page document, condensed from thousands of scientific studies, IPCC experts estimate that humanity has three years to reverse the curve of greenhouse emissions if it wants to maintain a livable world. “It is the report of solutions, and very strongly, one of the messages that emerges is that today there are solutions that are to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in all sectors.“, says Céline Guivarch, researcher on climate change.

Reduction of at least 60% by 2050 in the use of fossil fuels. Widespread electrification, the creation of compact and walkable cities, not to mention an industry that must completely rethink its processes. And a change in consumption habits which could, alone, allow these emissions to be reduced by 40 to 70%.
