They are everywhere in comics for teenagers, heroes of video games, series and cinema. The zombies are simply going to open the Cannes Film Festival.
With his latest film “Cut!”, Michel Hazavanicius pulled the zombies out of the closet. A film that will certainly shake up the Cannes Film Festival. Initially, the film “Cut!” is the story of a failed shooting of a zombie movie. “It still scares me a little for real“, admits Michael Hazavaniciusdirector. Originally, the belief of the living dead comes from Haiti. But for all of us, the zombie above all summons our imagination and deep-rooted fears.
With “The Night of the Living Dead”, it was the American George Romero, who in 1968 made the zombie film ultra-popular. He thus gives the codes of the zombie: usually it moves in hordes and eats human flesh. Twenty years later, it was this film that gave Michael Jackson the idea for his famous “Thriller” music video. Since the 2000s, the living dead have been more fashionable than ever. We find them everywhere: in TV series, comics, and of course in video games.
